Christmas Dinner Party at the Tory Tavern

A fabulous dinner in an elegant, tastefully decorated Colonial Tavern with quiet baroque music playing in the background, Larry our waiter dressed in Colonial garb and catering to our every whim, and 10 of our best friends celebrating Christmas together - what could be better!!! Maybe what made it better was the Chinese auction gift exchange with the inflatable husband and delightful little red purse, lots of laughter, fine drink, Barb's fine table favors, Patti B's Red Hat gifts for everyone, and even the folks at the next table all admiring our regalia and finery and joining in the fun and laughter with us!

Smith's of Cohoes and White Christmas at the Music Hall

On December 1st, we started the holiday season off right! We dined at Smith's of Cohoes with about 100 other Red Hat Ladies, including the Spindle City Divas in a splendidly decorated old tavern. After a delicious meal of salad, chicken expertly prepared, ice cream and coffee, we were entertained by performers from the Cohoes Music Hall who also led us in Christmas Carols. And the singer cozied up toi Elinore again! Then it was off to the musical stage version of Bing Crosby's White Christmas. It was fun, and entertaining with incredible tap dancing! What a great way to start the Holidays!!!
