Long Island Red Hat Convention 9/30/09-10/02/09

We traveled to Long Island to experience a convention of Red Hat Ladies over almost 500 - What a sea of red and purple when we were all in the same room! We shopped a lot ( of course) buying Red Hat clothing and accessories we simply could not live without. We entered Hat contests and Elinore and Sharon were both selected as finalists in the Elegant Hat contests (Thanks Chuckie). Queens Sharon and Elinore walked the runway in the Queen's parade and Elinore even showed a bit of leg. We enjoyed shared meals and lots of laughs with Red Hatters from all over, we swam a bit in the pool, and we enjoyed the entertainment and dancing provided by the hosts.
