Ziti dinner & Murder Mystery at Center Brunswick F.D.

A small group of us gathered for a ziti and meatball dinner and a murder mystery show at the Center Brunswick F.D. After eating far too much pasta, bread, meatballs, and salad, the show began. We got to interview each potential murderer, and then tried to arrive at consensus to pick our murderer. Unfortunately, consensus was wrong and Chuckie was right.... and we lost out on a valuable prize (?). But we enjoyed the evening out and each ohter, who could ask for more?

Spindle City Divas 3rd Annual PJ Party

Another great event... and in our PJ's too! Twenty-two of us gathered for this annual event. We enjoyed a terrific breakfast buffet with lots of absolutely everything on it, won lots & lots of door prizes, enjoyed making terrible fools of ourselves as we performed "The Unicorn Song" complete with masks and green horns and really bad dancing, cheered the talent show participants (especially the Elvises )and enjoyed the company of each other and over 200 other Red Hatters. Oh, and we laughed a lot also!

St Patrick's Day at Pingrove Ranch - 3/16/09 - 3/18/09

OK - so it took us three days to celebrate St Patrick's Day. But at this time of year, EVERYONE is Irish, so its only fitting. We celebrated with three other chapters and did all kinds of things: Ate corned beef and cabbage and drank green beer (naturally); danced line dances as well as well as the usual dances (it is a ranch!); rode horses,:swam in the indoor pool and even went down the slides: enjoyed the shows; took hay rides; sang oldies to our drinks;won Pinegrove $$'s against other chapters for bocce, bean bag toss, the scavenger hunt for all things green, the horse races with Donna as Jockey and came in 1st (Pat S)and 3rd (Sharon & Lois Y )in the contest for best Irish celebratory costume. We feasted on delcious meals and enjoyed the company of Red Hatters as well as a fun group of retirees from New Jersey. We came home tired, but still smiling!

St. Patty's Day at the AOH

I wasn't there, but members of our group gathered at the BIGGEST Irish party in town to celebrate. There was good food, good drink (in green bottles), good entertainment, and good fun to be had by all. No one brought a camera, so pictures were taken of the group later (with their green bottles) that Mary had picked up after the event . (So now, Mary is collecting bottles.... Its a shame it has come to that).

Full Monty at Cohoes Music Hall

Its a terrific show to see and even better with your Red Hat sisters! It was an occasion to dress up and show off our Red Hat finery. We laughed till we almost peed our pants and cheered on the men as they stripped with clackers, whistles, and kazoos. We renewed friendships and made new ones with ladies from other chapters and we sipped tea and ate goodies at intermission (dessert first, of course). Then together we enjoyed dining out at the 76 Diner (really a restaurant) as we laughed even more.
