Too Many Divas

    Once again the Rowdies hosted a spectacular event.  A stunning balloon arch showcased the stage and the  "Too Many Divas" performance on National Red Hat Day.  The Divas entertained us with stunning harmonizing songs that we all recognized and sang along with.  The costume changes from elegant to fat suits kept us focused on the performance the whole time.   The luncheon was a  fabulous meal of turkey with all the trimmings, served to all the guests by the Rowdies, and a to-die-for Red Velvet Cake served first in the best Red Hat tradition.  The door prizes were plentiful and Elinore's right-left game for  prizes was a huge hit!

Black Hat Diva luncheon

The first Black Hat Diva event was today and we, of course, had to be a part of this tremendous luncheon held at the Italian American Community Center. so, we all donned our new (for most of us anyway) black hats, got all glitzed up with our black finery, and off we went to join about 80 other ladies. Everyone looked stunning and our own Marcia was selected as Queen for the Day after sharing her story of having gotten her gold jacket from a pole dancer in Vegas. Our ambassador, Patti, was selected as Best Glitz - no surprise there. As always, we laughed and had a great time! Welcome to Marty and Lin as our newest members. And thanks to Judy and Pat M (who will be joining us as Rowdies) for planning this terrific event.
