Valley Cat's Baseball at the Joe

    

 Summer is baseball time! Especially on a beautiful summer evening.  Anytime is diamond time and fireworks time!  So once again this year, we journeyed to the Joe at HVCC for baseball ( we won!), a diamond dig (we didn't find it!), and fireworks ( an awesome show!).   A great time was had by all and Florence may actually learned just a bot about baseball.

Our Son's Wedding at Lake George Dinner Theater

  

 We joined the Scarlet Harlequins in beautiful Lake George for a matinée of Our Son's Wedding and   a delicious luncheon.   We enjoyed the company of each other and the Scarlet Harlequins and a great, poignant comedy about their son marrying a Jewish doctor,  We all laughed til we almost peed our panties.

   Then it was time for adventure.  We climbed Prospect Mountain (in Mary's car) and bused it to the summit where we enjoyed the spectacular views on the beautiful clear day.  Several of us did actually take the 5 minute stroll down to the parking lot!

Queen's Council Picnic in Connecticut

     We traveled all the way to Oxford, Connecticut in the rain for a summer picnic!  When we arrived, there was a large party tent to protect us from the elements.   Along with lots of ladies in red & purple ( nd  few in pink & lavendar), we enjoyed a great picnic lunch. The Rowdies performed a kazoo parade after the meal   Since we couldn't use the great outdoors, there was a magician to keep us entertained.  Our own, Pat S, served as a capable magician assistant and added to the act's fun.  Chuck and Hank even found a head to pose with!

Laura Roth at the Queensbury Hotel

    Laura Roth is one very funny lady!  She loves performing for Red Hatters and we love her!  We traveled to the lovely Queensbury Hotel  and enjoyed a wonderful repast. And then , there was Laura to entertain us and make us laugh.  We loved the old favorites, "Viagra in the Water", and delighted in the new favorites.    And like good Red Hatters, we shopped!
